Neil Lock had already spent years inside search before he built a host for it. pbn.ltd, his AI hosting platform for SEOs, came from the same habit as the rest of his work. He has ADHD and autism, and he says that makes an unfinished system hard to leave alone. Zinn Digital is the parent company. Zinn Hub is the freelance marketplace in the same group. Between them, the businesses host more than 700,000 websites.
“Being neurodivergent is my superpower. I see life in code, not the way most people see it,” Tech Entrepreneur Neil Lock says. He does not claim this makes someone better at technology. He does say it changes what he can ignore. “I’ve always been obsessed with understanding how things work. If something doesn’t make sense to me, I need to pull it apart and understand what’s happening underneath.”
SEO hosting, pulled apart, was a list of jobs the customer was still doing. Hide the origin. Spread the DNS. Pick a CDN. Check the footprint before a domain goes on. Update WordPress without breaking the site. Back it up. Watch for malware. Read the rank data somewhere else. Open a ticket when it fails. Ordinary hosts could sell the server and call the rest optional. Lock, who has worked in search since the early days of Google, saw the optional parts as the product.
pbn.ltdis the version where those parts are included. He describes it as the first AI hosting platform built for SEOs, and as a footprint problem before it is a server problem: what a search engine can see, and what it should not. Sites are deployed across more than one CDN, with the origin IP hidden and DNS spread across large providers, so a network sits among ordinary websites rather than in a neat block. A check of more than a hundred footprints runs before a domain is added. WordPress, static HTML and other CMS sites go up in one step, with SSL, CDN and DNS chosen on one screen. Updates run on autopilot, and an update that would break a site is rolled back.
The support is his, not a borrowed chatbot. He built the 24/7 AI agent, the same one used at Zinn Digital, and says it has real functions rather than a script that apologises. Backups are daily. Malware removal, a firewall, flood protection and self-repair sit on every site. Around the hosting is the rest of the SEO desk: rank tracking, an index checker, site audits, keyword research, a backlink monitor, client reports and a footprint checker, plus a marketplace, aged domains, and free personal advice for customers. It takes card, PayPal or crypto.
Zinn Digital is the broader company, AI-first hosting and SEO in 58 languages, for customers who are not building SEO networks. Zinn Hub came from looking at freelance marketplaces and finding a different unfinished system: fees, language, and rules that did not feel fair. pbn.ltd is the search-hosting version of the same instinct.
He still wants to be able to explain it himself. “I like to be at the front of my own businesses, not hiding in the shadows while other people do the work.” The public account of his ADHD and autism is new. The reason for pbn.ltd is older. Hosting for SEOs did not make sense to him while the customer was left holding the pieces. So he built the host that holds them.
